The Hanson Group’s Polymer Composite Membrane (PolyArmor PCM 102) is a two part sprayable coating and a two part sprayable primer that can complement or replace the use of wire mesh or shotcrete for ground control in many areas of underground hard rock mines.  The two part formulated system is sprayed through a mixing nozzle in a 1:1 ratio directly onto the rock surface. The primer coating forms a tack-free foam immediately. The polymer topcoat is a tack free film and is also formed immediately. The film cures quickly to form a very tough, flexible coating. PolyArmor PCM 102 is part of a ground support system which would include proper blasting, scaling and bolting.
